This is an authentic chinese restaurant where the food and portion sizes are amazing but the decor is terrible but functional. A real littke gem in beeston. Has some classics like beef ho fun. No dim sum. The garlic sauce chinese veg pak choi is a taste of home. Noodle soup bowls and dishes over rice are great too.

We ordered a take away of sweet and sour chicken, curry chicken, and spring rolls. The food was an amazing, the portions were particularly good we shared the meal between 2 people and have leftovers :) The people was very nice and the service was very fast. I would definitely go back and make it one of my go to places

As a hidden gem in Beeston. Great authentic Chinese food. The dumplings were delicious, and the brisket was as good as any you would find in Chinatown . Highly recommend

How have I gone so long without going? Yes okay the entrance is a bit, fishy. But the place itself is brilliant. Decore is basic but tidy and clean, perfect for me; you know all your money goes towards food not fancy decorations. Onto the food. It's proper Chinese food, at least the Chinese dishes are. Dumplings are hand made and not just out of a frozen packet, and the noodles also don't taste like they come out of a packets. Best of all it's not been anglicised at all. No more needs to be said. And it's super good value. Service is basic and on the slow side. But food takes time to cook. That's just how it is. Overall 9/10. It's not a wine and dine place. More for those who want good food, and not much else. Thoroughly recommended

Tiny Chinese tucked down an alleyway (don’t let that stop you though!). Smallish menu but big portions and what they produce is freshly cooked and excellent quality. The Chairman’s Pork was melt in the mouth delicious. They don’t serve alcohol but we called and asked if we could bring our own and they said we could. Wine glasses were provided and they even put the bottle of white in the freezer for us to chill it down. Brilliant place

I love this place so much I couldn't recommend it more. It's a great little spot with really lovely staff, the young man and young girl that serves us are always really caring . I can't even count the amount of times me and my boyfriend have gone now. We usually get sweet and sour tofu and maos pork which are always great portions - I often need a takeout box because I can't finish it all. I love how fluffy the rice is as well. We have also gotten the noodles before which are always brilliant. I'd recommend not going in a large group because it's quite small and I don't think there's many staff in the back for food to come as quick, but I'm sure they'd try there best if you did, just be more patient, it's a small place. It is cash only but there's a machine just opposite (and a few on Beeston high street) so it's always fine. If you go for lunch they have a cheaper menu with rice together with the meal if your looking for something a bit smaller too. Couldn't recommend this place enough.

This is a great little Chinese cafe, very popular with the town's many Chinese student. It's definitely more of a cafe than a restaurant, but that's no bad thing. Nottingham and the surrounding area has a good few of these more authentic Chinese eateries and this one is one of the best. The staff are very friendly and the food came quickly. Best dish was a whole roast aubergine in a sweet and spicy sauce. Not totally sure what it's called as we got it by accident and we'd started eating it by the time they noticed it, so we asked them to add it to the bill. They are also happy to provide takeaway containers for leftovers, which is good as we seriously over ordered. Good portion sizes!

Try the dragon aubergine!!! This little restaurant in the back of an alleyway is a really cool treat for the taste buds. Genuinely authentic Chinese cuisine - there's a lot of Chinese students who seem to eat here. Note that it's cash only, but there's a cash machine right across the road.
